Summary of Job Duties:

Using statistical analysis and various data visualization techniques the candidate will collaborate with business users and technical teams across the organization to facilitate data-driven decision making by enabling exploration and analysis of historical and near real-time data access using on premise and cloud-based tools and technologies. The candidate will focus on both small projects and potentially projects much larger in scope. Build new custom reporting solutions and work with existing analytical tools. The candidate also should have the ability to create complex ETL processes. Collaborate with technical teams to provide excellent solutions, while utilizing strong problem-solving skills to continuously meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer/Information Sciences or related field of study plus 5 years of relational database experience – OR – Associate degree in Healthcare, Business, Computer/Information Sciences or related field of study plus 7 years of relational database experience – OR High School diploma plus 9 years of relational database experience.

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, or SSAS

Experience with Microsoft Office

Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages is required. Strong SQL coding skills, visualization building, and data analytics experience.

The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and to work closely and effectively with co-workers and end-users.

Work occasionally may require more than eight hours per day.  Workload and deadlines pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress.

Epic Cogito Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Business Information Systems.

Experience in Power BI, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Platform tools, or Crystal Reports.

  • Utilize Power BI to deliver high quality BI solutions in an enterprise environment
  • Skilled in ETL tools and methods
  • SQL querying
  • Experience writing Power Query, DAX, MDX for complex data projects
  • Experience creating and maintaining reporting assets in Power BI
  • Experience in Data Mining and Statistical Analysis
  • Expert problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience connecting to APIs
