Candidates hired into this position will be able to work remotely.

This position will remain open until filled.

This position is responsible for coordinating, writing, and delivering data sets and reports of all levels related to the Epic Revenue Cycle; including but not limited to Hospital/Professional Billing and Coding, Health Information Management, Patient Access. Identifying and coordinating data requirements from end-users into technical specifications, organizing the data for reporting, and producing both monthly and ad-hoc reports using business intelligence tools. Involves advanced understanding of data management/ETL within Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training. Related experience: SQL or directly in Epic EMR database.

  • Incumbent will be required to be certified in assigned EMR vendor’s product/module within the first 6 months of employment. Incumbent must satisfy all vendor testing requirements to be certified without needing to attend vendors training a second time for the same class.

  • Professional level experience working with clinical information systems and developing reports.

  • Intermediate level capabilities with MS Access and MSSQL server and related technologies.

  • Knowledge and intermediate level experience working with Transact SQL, Crystal Reports 11, OLAP structures and/or other related technologies.

  • Extensive experience and working knowledge of all MS office products.

  • Knowledge and experience of database management technologies.

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently, setting priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills, presentation and report writing.

  • Healthcare Data Management and Reporting.
  • Epic Clarity Data Model Certification in Revenue Data Model.
  • Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar, Cogito Tools, Radar SQL Metric Framework.
  • OLAP Cube Development.
  • Tableau Server.
  • Tableau Development.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Management (SSMS).
  • Microsoft SQL Analysis Server (SSAS).
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).
  • Epic Clarity.

  • Epic Slicer Dicer.
  • Project Management.
  • ETL Data Management.
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
