Salary: Grade 7 (£35,333 – £42,155 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

As an Enterprise Consultant, you will make an active contribution to the personal and professional development of our students and graduates – delivering a high standard of support to help them to secure appropriate self-employment or employment. With a proactive approach to student and graduate engagement, you will develop initiatives to enhance employability prospects and inspire broad cohorts to engage with Spark.

Working as part of the Spark team, and in partnership with faculty teams and CEES, you will deliver high quality careers information, advice, and guidance to students and graduates through online and face to face sessions for individual and group sessions.  

You will support the development and delivery of co-curriculum career development modules, working closely with academics. You will be expected to manage competing priorities, and to build professional relationships with key stakeholders across the university and with the external business network. Further, you will be expected to work innovatively, collaboratively, and flexibly, within a culture of continuous improvement. 

We are recruiting one FTE Enterprise Consultant role based within our Spark team. Our University is positive about flexible working. Currently, the Spark team are working on a hybrid basis with the role requiring flexibility to be on campus for meetings and delivery as required. On campus working may be more during our busy periods throughout the year.
