Position Details

General Statement Under the supervision of the Associate Registrar, this position performs a variety of technical and customer service support tasks in support of the Registrar’s Office and Division of Student Success. This position has extensive contact with students, staff, faculty and the public, and the person in this position must possess the skills to respond to a wide variety of contacts tactfully and diplomatically. The work is highly detailed and requires teamwork, problem-solving skills, and interpretation and implementation of MUS and MSU policies and procedures. Personal initiative and good judgment are essential to dealing effectively with highly confidential and restricted academic record information. The Enrollment Service Program Manager becomes a primary point of contact and systems expert for an enrollment support system within the Office of the Registar.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • High volume and routine evaluation, review, and maintain processes and protocols related to the permanent academic records of former and current students.
  • Proficiently utilize enrollment management software to assist students in registration.
  • Prioritize duties to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • Maintain and generate complex data sets.
  • Serve as lead content administrator for an enrollment services system behalf of the Office of the Registrar.
  • Create, distribute, respond, archive all documentation related to an enrollment system and processes.
  • Coordinate, audit, review, and update related webpages for the Office of the Registrar.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
  • College degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated software experience including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Demonstrated experience composing, formatting, and proofing business correspondence and general office materials accurately and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability providing a high level of customer service in a positive and professional manner.
  • Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
  • General knowledge of higher education curricula, policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with enrollment-specific software and/or relational database such as Banner, Ad Astra, Navigate, Courseleaf and Degreeworks, or other equivalent software programs.
