The PCER Team is within Innovation & Engagement, which is part of Research Services (RS). RS works in partnership with our academic divisions, their departments and faculties, to support Oxford’s world-class researchers. Our role is to facilitate excellence in research, engagement and innovation at Oxford.

The Engagement & Evaluation Coordinator helps to evaluate and deliver PCER projects across the University by supporting key engagement activities, training researchers, and capturing the overall impact of the University’s engagement efforts.

About the Role

As Engagement & Evaluation Coordinator, you will play a key role within the University’s Public and Community Engagement with Research team.

You will shape the University’s approach to capturing the impact of our public engagement and community with research (PCER) portfolio. In turn, you will enable us to tell the story of how PCER makes a difference to our researchers, our research and the public and communities affected by our research.

You will work with the Head of Public and Community Engagement and colleagues within the team, and collaborate across the wider University, to enhance Oxford’s position as a world-leading research institution.

About You

You will have practical experience of evaluating complex systems and discrete projects. You’ll combine clear communication and sound numeracy skills to draft reports and synthesise large amounts of information.

You will be comfortable working independently in a complex environment, using your initiative and prioritising effectively to meet deadlines. You will also be organised and work well as part of a team, helping to contribute to its wider objectives.
