We are committed to proactively embedding and promoting good wellbeing in the workplace, and to successfully build upon this the Directorate of People, OD and Support Services are now seeking to recruit to the newly created position of Employee Wellbeing Consultant.  This is a permanent role, 0.6 FTE. 

Reporting to the Associate Director of Organisational Development and Culture and working collaboratively with People Services and other University colleagues you will deliver a blend of strategic and operational activities associated with the delivery of the University’s People Strategy.  Key duties and responsibilities include:

•    Operationalising and delivering our Wellbeing Strategy, through the design, delivery, and evaluation of innovative wellbeing interventions that lead to improved employee motivation, engagement, and performance.

•    Leading and/or contributing to People Strategy projects and workstreams, ensuring that wellbeing and our values are integrated through all activity.

•    Embedding and promoting strategically aligned wellbeing initiatives throughout the University.

•    Using data to identify wellbeing trends to inform developments and improvement initiatives, using metrics to analyse and report on improvements.

•    Working in partnership with others to understand and identify incoming wellbeing demand and risk that provides areas of focus and provide expert advice to develop solutions to wellbeing matters for individuals and teams as appropriate.

•    Providing expert advice in a range of formats ensuring that People Services colleagues, managers, and staff are effectively supported on issues related to all aspects of wellbeing (i.e., emotional, mental, financial, and physical).

As an experienced and passionate professional, you will have a good knowledge and understanding of all aspects of employee wellbeing which is demonstrated through your delivery of innovative, impactful wellbeing initiatives and interventions.  Your ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and collaborate with others is essential, as is your ability to communicate with, influence and persuade a range of audiences to effect sustained culture change. In addition, you will have the ability to produce, interpret and report on data to identify impact and areas of focus, and enjoy finding creative solutions to emerging issues.
