Job Summary

The Data Analyst is a strategic thinker who drives the current and future strategy of RWJBarnabas Health s Employee Relations space by leveraging analytics to assist in telling a story and provide a visualization by translating data into meaningful and actionable insights.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze HR data from various sources, such as an employee relations management System and HRIS
  • Develop and maintain HR analytics dashboards and reports that provide insights on key Employee Relations metrics and trends
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reporting to HR leaders and business partners
  • Collaborate with HR teams to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process improvements and organizational change
  • Develop predictive models to forecast future trends and help guide HR/ER strategy
  • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR data analysis and user interface design
  • Mine data to arrive at specific and crucial information for the organization
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests
  • Extract and analyze data to drive towards predictive analytics and leading indicators

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of HR processes and systems, such as HRIS, performance management and various talent management software solutions
  • Experience using tools such as Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences, as well as to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related degree, or relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of experience working with HR Acuity or other employee relations management system, preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field, preferably in an HR setting
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Excel, and statistical software
