Salary: Grade 5 (£24,285 – £27,929 p.a. depending on experience)

This role will be based on the University campus.

Are you a highly motivated qualified Electrician? Do you have excellent problem solving skills and a logical approach? Can you carry out a wide range of electrical reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance work?

 You will help to deliver a reactive maintenance service across the University and be fully up-to-date with the requirements of electrical maintenance and repair work. You should have extensive experience of electrical repairs and planned preventative maintenance work. 

 You will have successfully completed an Electrical Apprenticeship and have on-site experience. You will be able to work unsupervised, and on your own initiative, within a large and complex organisation, whilst maintaining a safe working environment for all our staff, students and visitors. You will join our Maintenance and Operations team that forms part of the Facilities Directorate , which is dedicated to providing a wide range of support services connected with the effective management, development and maintenance of the University.
