Belcan Inc. is looking for an EHS Generalist to provide strategic planning in regards to health and safety procedures.

As an EHS Generalist, you will be:

o Writing, reviewing, updating and implementing environment, health & safety procedures, reports, and training as required by local site requirements, RTX and P&W Policy and all Federal, Provincial, and Local regulatory agencies

o Creating, updating, and managing internal Environment Health & Safety (EHS) training content and external training coordination

o Inspecting, auditing, assessing facility activities related to work practices for compliance as required by local, provincial, and federal law and RTX policy

o Leading and supporting EHS safety committees with the goal of reducing injuries, incidents, and meeting company initiatives

o Partnering with the company”s Central EHS group to ensure standardization of procedures and processes across the enterprise

o Collaborating with business unit supervisors/managers and sr. leadership to achieve a strong understanding of industrial risks and work with the organization to develop and execute mitigation to eliminate such risks.

Education and experience:

o Bachelor”s degree in Environment Health & Safety or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience

o Strong communication and presentation skills

o Flexibility to perform work on all shifts and provide on-site support for office and shop floor employees

o Results driven

o Strong attention to detail
