Position Summary

The successful candidate will be supporting the program delivery for students in an Interactions program who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as students in inclusive classrooms.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

assisting students in the Interactions Program as well as in inclusive classrooms

assisting with complex instructional support for student learning including assisting with IPP’s

assisting with adapting and modifying activities to support individual students learning needs

utilizing educational software

assisting with managing student regulation during activities

providing support to the set up and maintenance of the classroom environment

assisting students with personal care including toileting


a diploma in a related program

a minimum of one year of related experience working in an inclusive classroom environment

experience working with and providing interventions to students who have autism

experience with assistive technology

knowledge and experience with positive behaviour supports and strategies

NVCI, First Aid

Rate of Pay

$22.64 – $28.70 per hour
