This general scholarship application is meant for all Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation PhD students. It is used by Edson College to find eligible PhD students for a wide-range of private donor scholarships. The application is used to award the majority of scholarships offered through the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation.

The application process is competitive and selection is based on varying criteria such as GPA, goals, financial need, and residency (just to name a few). Please fill out the full application in order to be considered for several different scholarships that are need-based and/or merit-based. Please provide all requested information in order to check eligibility for optimal recipients.

Additional criteria: 

This application is only available to current PhD students and incoming fall 2023 students admitted to the PhD program within Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation. The application applies for the 2023-24 academic year. Only students meeting this requirement will be considered.

Some scholarships within the general scholarship application require demonstrated financial need. To determine financial need, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be filed and submitted to ASU. You may complete the FAFSA at the following link: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ . Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA if they would like to be considered for need-based scholarships.

Students who do not file a FAFSA will be considered for merit-based scholarships only.
