| Job Duties | The primary purpose of this Staff Nurse is to provide nursing support to patients and coordination of patient care at the Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. The nursing support and coordination of care includes patient education, physical and mental status, triaging of patients and assisting providers, residents, medical students and other learns and patient testing. This professional nursing care is rendered to patients in compliance with the medical care directed by physicians. |
| Minimum Education/Experience | Graduation from state-accredited school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |

| Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education | Graduation from state-accredited school of professional nursing and licensed to practice as a Nurse in North Carolina. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institution. Previous experience in a behavioral health care setting working with children and adults. |
