Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified: Protection Officer – GBV & Protection Case Management Supervisor for our operations in our Mai-Tsebri (1), Adi-grat (1), Sherero (1) Field Office.

Under the supervision of the Protection Team Leader, the Protection Officer – GBV & PCM Supervisor will oversee and implement general protection case management activities in line with international standards, best practices, and DRC’s Protection Case Management SOPs, GBV Case Management SOPs and guidelines. Protection Officer (GBV and Protection Case Management supervisor) will be primarily responsible for ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and technical soundness of PCM and GBV case management services provided by both Protection Assistant-PCM caseworkers and GBV caseworkers.
The supervisor will work to strengthen the technical capacity of the case management team, ensure proper documentation and adherence to standards, and promote staff well-being and professional development. S/he will supervise the implementation of general protection case management, GBV case management activities carried out by the PCM case workers based in Sheraro, Adi-grat and Mai-Tsebri. The Officer will manage individual protection cases with technical support from the Protection Specialist- Case Management and in close coordination with the Protection Manager. Furthermore, the Officer will be responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with other agencies, local governance structures, and partners in their respective operational areas.
