Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for a highly qualified Partnerships Officer to drive our global resource mobilization efforts.
Within DRC’s business development and fundraising pillar, the Global Foundations & Institutional Donors (GFID) section leads the organization’s global strategic partnership work. GFID’s role is to ensure DRC takes a consistent, well-coordinated approach to prepositioning donors, institutional and foundation alike, and keep track of funding opportunities across the organization. This spans DRC’s engagement with institutional donors, such as the European Commission, UN agencies, and bilateral humanitarian and development donors, as well as its growing work with foundations and high-net-worth individuals. In doing so, GFID works alongside the rest of the department to build DRC’s capacity and ambition to find, grow, and deepen partnerships and fundraising activities.
About the job
The role supports the GFID team, particularly the Head of GFID and Senior Partnership Advisors, who work across Institutional Donor and Foundation partnerships. You will take the lead in coordinating across the team’s workstreams. You will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy, exercising sound judgement in prioritizing tasks, managing competing deadlines, and representing GFID. You will also work closely with colleagues in HQ, across HQ hubs, and in country offices, and provide guidance and support to junior colleagues and interns on specific tasks and projects.

We offer
Contract length: 12 months
Work location: Lyngbyvej 100, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, just by Ryparken station
Start date: As soon as possible
The position is temporary, and any extension of the contract is subject to the availability of funding.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and the relevant union agreement. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
Please note that you need to have the right to work in Denmark (through nationality or existing work visa) to be considered for this role.
