This is a donor-funded scholarship made possible by the generosity of Dorothy Karpin. The scholarship will support an undergraduate student from any year of study who has established their Aboriginality and Torres Strait Islander identity and heritage with the University of Newcastle.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

Benefit
The scholarship is paid as two lump sums of $5000 in semester 1 and 2, after the census dates.
Selection
Selection is a competitive process and will be based on assessment of the scholarship application and any required supporting documents, with reference to the eligibility criteria.
