About Advancement
The Advancement Office aims to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends and benefactors. It is responsible for the management of programs relating to alumni and benefactors and provides services to and works collaboratively with faculties and other central administration areas.
About the Role
Working within the Donor Relations team, part of a Centre of Excellence in Alumni and Donor Relations, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the University’s Donor Relations strategy and activities within the Advancement portfolio.
You will also be responsible for the delivery of a coordinated and personalised stewardship program for donors who make gifts between $10,000 – $100,000 to priority university-wide and faculty-specific broad-based funds. You will connect donors to the impact of their giving through bespoke communications and reports, and personal correspondence and engagement through events.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a multi-tiered stewardship and engagement strategy for the University’s Leadership Giving donors
Prepare and issue impact reports for core Leadership Giving products and Faculty broad-based funds
Support the Leadership Giving Officers in the preparation of personal correspondence to donors
Coordinate and deliver donor celebration events for core Leadership Giving donor cohorts.
About You
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to prioritise allows you to meet competing deadlines and achieve goals and objectives in a collaborative manner across a large organisation. Your high-level attention to detail also ensures you deliver consistent and accurate work.
You will also have:
An appropriate tertiary qualification with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training as per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications
Experience in the delivery of donor, customer or stakeholder relations strategy and operational activities
An understanding of the principles of and current best practice in donor relations and its relationship to fundraising, preferably in an education environment.
Experience in the delivery of events and capacity to deliver projects within timelines and budget
A strong understanding of and demonstrated track record of working with complex CRMs
