Position

Reporting to the Associate Director, Agreements and Processing, the Donation Processing Assistant supports the goals of the Office of the Recording Secretary by ensuring mail for the unit is opened, donations are logged, and donors have records within the Donation Processing System.

Duties

• Receives, opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail
• Scans and files documents
• Performs data entry into spreadsheets and the donation processing system
• Prepares routine memos and correspondence
• Physically prepares deposits and takes to the bank for deposit
• Processes simple donation transactions including online giving
• Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School Diploma is required. Preference given to candidates who have a degree, diploma or certificate in Accounting or Finance
• One or more years of experience working in a charitable or not for profit environment
• Familiar with the Google Suite of products

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience with Ellucian Advance
• A minimum of one year experience with Peoplesoft Financials
• Working knowledge and understanding of FOIP
