Document Control Coordinator
Summary
The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all documentation for assigned road infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all project documents are accurate, up-to-date, and are easily accessible. They play a critical role in ensuring the flow of documents between project operations, construction teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Document Management
Documentation Compliance
Communication and Coordination
Facilitate effectively among project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders by distributing, tracking, and archiving project documentation.
Change Management
Track revisions, update records, and manage change requests to ensure the latest versions of project documentation.
Data Integrity
Maintain accurate records and protect information.
Document Control Procedures
Develop and implement document control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Education, Training, Diplomas and Certifications
• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field is an asset
Work Experience
• Minimum 4 years of document control experience, preferably for road construction projects
• Knowledge of work processes of document control and the use of electronic systems to manage documentation
Working Conditions
• Overtime as required
• Compliance with all company policies
Technical Skills
• Team player who is deadline-driven
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex documents
• Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
• Professional demeanor and customer-oriented approach
• Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is an asset
