Work Schedule:

Mon – Thur: 2 pm -10 pm

Friday: 12 pm – 8 pm

What you will do

  • Coach, develop and lead Inbound Distribution Associates by providing developmental feedback and opportunities for learning

  • Provide leadership and expertise to Inbound Distribution daily activities through organizing resources, scheduling, priority management and monitoring of key metrics, actively supporting daily tasks and ensuring task completion.

  • Actively participates in one-on-one sessions with team members and Associate Manager

  • Participates in the development and execution of continuous improvement and integration projects within the department as well as cross-functionally across the organization and 6S program pertaining to Outbound picking/shipping in compliance with Stryker’s quality management system and Good Manufacturing Practices

  • Work with the Associate Manager, Inbound to create a schedule for adequate coverage daily and for scheduled vacations, lunch hours and absences.

  • Assist the Distribution Inventory Specialist to develop the annual count plan and execution of all required counts.

  • Support with any discrepancy investigation as requested by Quality Assurance

What you need

Required:

  • Post-secondary education required, preferred within Supply Chain/Operations, Business, or Science

  • 2 years of experience in Operations/Supply Chain, showing progression and increasing responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Experience with Oracle

  • Medical device industry experience

  • Proactively anticipates impacts and takes initiative beyond assigned responsibilities.

  • Exhibits growing leadership skills with the ability to coach and conduct performance conversations.
