Job description

This role will provide support to the Diversity Impact Programme and will create communication outputs about the programme as well as capturing case studies and examples of best practice. This role will also require good copyrighting skills to provide communication about the project as it develops, to key stakeholders and the media.

 

This role will include dissemination of project outputs, including case studies and identification of impactful stories which illustrate key milestones of the project. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and progression of the project, working effectively with the team and actively participating in team development, meetings, and other activities.

 

As part of the role, the Dissemination Officer will assist the Project Coordinator to produce content for dissemination materials (website, social media, newsletters, press releases, videos, magazines, posters, leaflets) and ensure these are distributed appropriately.

 

The successful candidate will be educated to A Level standard plus hold 5 GCSEs at grade C or higher including English and Maths or equivalent or significant professional experience. Experience of a busy office environment and experience of event planning is essential, as are excellent organisational skills and time management.

 

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
