Job description
In your new job you will:
- Lead the Product Definition- and Product Application Engineering
- Be responsible to secure technology-, product- and project support as well as customer support for High Voltage CoolMOS and CoolSiC PowerMOSFETs portfolio for OBC and DCDC applications
- Collaborate with cross divisional technical competence centers for automotive applications and evaluate new market opportunities
- Plan and ensure team resources to cover application and product roadmap requirements
- Provide technical guidance for the Field Application Engineers (training, trouble shooting, support in customer meetings)
- Develop new solutions / approaches based on broad technical expertise, thought leadership and interdependencies
- Foster innovation at all levels in products, processes and business practice
- Be fully responsible for a multicultural team including full spectrum of management functions: hiring, training, coaching, performance and salary review, team development, invest/cost budget
- Be responsible for continuous improvement of related Technical Marketing processes and methods

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A Master’s degree or PhD in electrical engineering or similar areas
- 10+ years experience in power semiconductor/ application engineering/ product development
- 5+ years experience in a management role in a technical environment
- A deep understanding of power electronics, experience with WBG electronics is desired
- Extensive people and project management experience with proven track record of building teams
- Experience in leading and driving strategic initiatives and working with international, cross-functional teams: Technology/ Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Quality, Reliability and Manufacturing
- Exceptional analytical, communication and coordination skills
- The ability to apply a variety of interpersonal and intercultural skills,including exchange of technical informations and negotiation skills, in order to effectively create a basis for decision-making, including higher management level, own team and regional teams of experienced technical experts
- The willingness to travel domestically and internationally
We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
