KPMG’s Education practice is a leader in serving Universities, Colleges, and Polytechnic institutions and School Boards across the country. We demonstrate our support and superior qualifications for education clients across Canada with cross-functional and diverse teams that bring well-rounded approaches to address the most challenging issues in the Education sector.
KPMG’s Government Practice helps government (e.g., federal, provincial and municipal) and broader public sector clients (e.g., higher education institutions) develop efficient and effective operations to support strategic business objectives. We help government anticipate disruption and reimagine the possible. Our shared purpose and passion help make an impact and improve the lives of citizens.
We are seeking a Toronto-based Director to join our Government Practice to lead our Education, Skills and Productivity cluster. This would be a strategic, high-profile role that unites our Education and Government national practices together to create a coordinated strategy.
Target clients for this cluster include:
Ontario Government Ministries responsible for overseeing, coordinating and planning Education, Higher Education, Skills and Training.
What you will do
As a Director at KPMG, you will bring prior consulting experience with government and broader sector organizations. Furthermore, you understand and are intimately familiar with Canadian governments at the federal, provincial and municipal level as it relates to this cluster. This experience and exposure span the strategy and operations of government, including program/policy development, implementation and evaluation, as well as the downstream entities involved (e.g., school boards, universities) and/or stakeholders impacted (e.g., teachers).
This role is about sales, delivery, and practice development.
You will play a central role in delivering a structured process to shape an ambitious and practical path for clients to realize value. You will also be part of a national and global KPMG that has developed some of the best tools, methods, and frameworks anywhere.
