DIRECTOR OF PROSPECT MANAGEMENT STRATEGY, Resource Development, to be responsible for leading a team that collaborates with all MIT fundraisers and their Strategic Information Management (SIM) colleagues to create optimal portfolios, strategic prospect pipelines, effective tools and training, and donor-centric fundraising policies that secure comprehensive philanthropic support for the Institute.  


Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree; at least five years of prospect development or similar experience and at least two years of management experience; history of successful strategic planning and goal setting and demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team; excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, organizational, and project management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines, while paying attention to details and without compromising quality, in a demanding, high-volume work environment; ability to proffer innovated solutions and/or negotiate outcomes for a population that may possess competing interests, opinions, and/or expectations; ability to both work independently and as part of cross-collaborative teams; sound judgment with confidential information; support for MIT’s commitment to advancement and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I); and advanced-level technical/computer skills that includes proficiency with standard applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, and PowerPoint). PREFERRED:  experience with Ellucian Advance or other enterprise fundraising system, and experience within a complex development operation.  Job #22057-9
