Director of IT Business Services, Digital Innovation and Technology Services
£54,949 – £61,823 per annum

The University of Essex is seeking a full time, permanent Director of IT Business Services to join the Digital Innovation and Technology Services (DITS) leadership team.

The role holder is responsible for leading the Business Services group covering the support and development of the University’s enterprise (commercial) applications including Finance Systems, HR Systems, Estates Systems, CRM, and Student Progression Systems. Additionally, the role holder will lead the cyber security function to protect the reputation and digital assets of the University.

The role is based on our campus and will need to be flexible and able to work out of hours if required. Periodic travel to the other campuses may be required. We welcome flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications and Skills required

The successful role holder will possess solid knowledge and experience of IT risk management and service management, as well as motivational leadership and management abilities.
