Leading the Biomedical Revolution in Precision Health
Our unrivaled atmosphere of interdisciplinary exploration and collaboration has produced many of the innovations that sparked a biomedical revolution: MRIs, gene splicing, and stem cell medicine were all born on the Stanford Medicine campus. Today, that same atmosphere, amplified by the astounding intellectual and technological capital that surrounds us in Silicon Valley, gives us an unprecedented opportunity to advance human health.
The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine is changing the future of medicine. Under the new leadership of Ravi Majeti, MD, PhD, the Institute brings together experts from a wide range of scientific and medical fields to create a fertile, multidisciplinary research environment. The stem cell field is poised to make major advances in biology and medicine, and our Institute and investigators are major contributors. In order to make advancements, it is critical we also have strong leaders and staff in the areas of finance, administration and HR. We continue to grow and evolve in changing technology and organizational effectiveness.
Are you ready to make your impact and support our mission?
We are seeking a Director of Finance and Administration (DFA1) to join our team. The Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine gathers the brightest people to work collaboratively across academic disciplines, harnessing the power of data and revolutionizing health care. With a total annual budget of $ 26 million, the Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine has over 50 faculty and staff working towards Stanford’s innovative culture: cross-disciplinary interests and a collaborative approach for transformative thought, processes, and systems.
Reporting to the Director of the Stanford Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, the Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) serves as the key business leader for the Institute. In this role, the DFA partners with the Director and other faculty to manage the financial and administrative areas of the department to include grant management, human resources, education and training.
