Summary of Job Duties:
Oversight of faculty, staff, and funding sources in the Adult Education Department, including but not limited to: General Education Development (GED), English as a Second Language (ESL), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Coordinator, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Adult Basic Education (ABE). Maintain appropriate communications with respective departments, state level agencies, and the public. Oversight of academic programs. Budget development and oversight. Leadership and supervision for the area and performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in education, administration, or related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education, licensure in adult education by the Arkansas Department of Education, Professional Licensure. Must currently have or attain licensure within three (3) years of the date of initial employment, five (5) years of experience as a teacher and/or administrator in adult education or a related field, experience in budget development and management, successful experience with adult learners, effective communication skills, ability to utilize technology effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with multiple campus supervision and oversight, experience with Workforce Education programming.

Salary Information:
$48,000 – $56,000 based on level of degree and experience
