This is an exceptional opportunity to join a prominent hospitality group, renowned for its expansive portfolio across multiple countries. As they continue to expand, they are seeing are seeking a skilled Accounting Director to lead the finance team for a 12-month interim period due to a leave.
In this role, you will oversee all accounting functions, collaborate closely with the FP&A team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes.
Responsibilities

Lead a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient operations and accurate financial reporting.

Coordinate closely with the Finance department to streamline accounting functions.

Manage period-end and year-end closings, producing timely and accurate financial reports.

Collaborate with the FP&A team to support business leaders with insightful financial analysis.

Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and manage the year-end audit process.

Drive process improvements and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
Skills and Qualifications
-
CPA designation
-
Minimum of ten years of progressive finance and accounting experience with minimum two years in a senior management/controllership capacity
-
Experience working in a multi-division, entities, complex work environment under ASPE with revenue over $500 million
