Job Summary
| Job Summary | The Director of Grants and Contracts is responsible for the planning and development of University and Research Development Corporation extramurally sponsored programs, and for facilitating faculty and staff participation in such activities. The director encourages and assists in the development of, and provides campus level approval for, all applications for extramural support to ensure that each proposal submitted is consistent with University/Corporation and sponsor guidelines, is an authorized official for accepting grants and executing contracts, and approves program amendments and major subcontracts. The Director is responsible for ensuring that each project awarded is carried out in a manner consistent with University/Corporation and sponsor policies and procedures. The director provides overall direction and supervision of the Office of Sponsored Programs staff to ensure that the mission of the Office is being effectively pursued. The Director of Grants and Contracts will work as an executive officer of the Concord University Research and Development Corporation. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with a work week divided between working onsite and working remotely. |
