Job Duties

Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for operations of University Center, Rose Theater, internal scheduling office and externally driven Conference Planning Office. This includes supervision of approximately 60 staff and establishing departmental policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure service excellence is achieved for all internal and external clients as well as analyzing any opportunities for organizational efficiencies.
Duties & Responsibilities Develops space and services pricing models; develops and manages UC and Conference and Event specific budgets and revenues; assumes responsibility for the integrity of financial and other data. Develop an implement annual operating plan to include establishing quantitative and qualitative departmental goals as well as establishing and monitoring revenue goals. Responsible for the overall integrity of departmental financial data and reporting by maintaining accurate operational budgets and reconciling with University systems, as well as actively participating in monthly financial meetings and quarterly budget cycles.
Duties & Responsibilities Oversees all aspects of campus event operations; works with conference managers and planners to schedule, plan and deliver services requested by conference guests; reviews all contracts and assists with difficult negotiations.
Duties & Responsibilities Oversees and assists in development of instructional event-based manuals, databases, forms, contracts, budgets, and other projects as needed to promote cost or time saving measures. Conduct annual market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the departmental pricing models remain competitive.
Duties & Responsibilities Actively participates in the sales process by providing direction for overall development and implementation of sales and marketing plans through the research and forecasting of market and industry trends, potentially untapped markets and aligning with university facilities and services and assisting in sensitive negotiations.
Duties & Responsibilities Analyzes and executes all facility use agreements of eternal users to ensure space use falls in line with all University policies and support equitable access to campus. Identify and maintain relationships with key campus stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities Other duties as assigned including but not limited to service on campus committee (Corporate and Foundation Relations, Minors on Campus, Access to Campus).
