The Digital Workplace Services Specialist
is a member of the IT Infrastructure and Service Delivery (ITSD) team reporting
directly to the Digital Workplace Services Coordinator in NAIT’s Information
and Technology Services (ITS) Department. Digital Workplace Services
encompasses the suite of technology solutions and support services provided to
enable users to collaborate, communicate, and work efficiently in a digital
work environment. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration,
configuration, and support of enterprise productivity tools and collaboration
platforms, such as tenant-level administration of Microsoft 365 Apps. Your
expertise in Microsoft 365 and digital workplace technologies will be instrumental
in enhancing productivity, security, and collaboration for our clients and
helping achieve organizational objectives. We provide a supportive environment
where you will apply your skills and be exposed to a significant variety of IT
scenarios

 

Key
Responsibilities:
 

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 Apps, including
    Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, the
    Viva Suite, and related services. 
  • Administer enterprise software licensing, settings,
    and policies. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365
    features, updates, service changes and industry trends to recommend and
    implement improvements. 
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection,
    implementation and administration of digital workplace technologies and tools,
    keeping in mind scalability, security, and user experience. 
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation
    to maximize user adoption and proficiency in digital workplace tools and
    applications. 
  • Work on assigned projects independently or as part of
    a team. 
  • Utilize a service management system for logging and
    tracking of requests. 
  • Create and maintain documentation and technical
    knowledge base articles. 

 

Skills & Abilities: 

  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 Apps, with a strong
    understanding of Microsoft 365 services and applications. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps such as
    Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and
    related technologies.  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to
    collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, colleagues, and internal teams. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to
    manage multiple priorities and execute time-sensitive requests in a fast-paced
    environment.
  • Working knowledge in on-prem Active Directory (AD) and
    Azure Active Directory (AAD)  
  • Working knowledge in PowerShell is an asset. 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps
    is an asset. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • An Information Technology related diploma or degree. 
  • A minimum of 3 years related work experience. 

 

Remuneration: $2,751.60 to $3,645.28 bi-weekly, plus a
comprehensive benefit plan.
