Digital Media Specialist (Centre for Innovation in Learning) [NIE]

We invite applications for the position of Digital Media Specialist in the Centre for Innovation in Learning. This is a 3-year contract post.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive multimodal learning content such as infographics, 2D/3D animations, etc. for online learning and professional development.
  • Analyse, propose and translate given teaching and learning content into visual design assets.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to research and develop tech-enabled learning solutions.
  • Scanning for emerging digital media trends to complement current/emerging teaching and learning methodologies.
  • Co-Design digital media campaigns and associated digital content aligned with the goals of projects/units/ the institution.
  • Co-Develop communications and marketing materials, including: publication design, infographics, data visualizations, executive-level PowerPoint presentations, web graphics and e-Newsletters.
  • Co-Design templates and layouts based on strict brand guidelines with consistency and ensuring production timelines are met.
  • Co-Create new digital marketing strategies for teaching and learning and sharing of knowledge amongst team members and institute-wide.

Requirements

  • A Diploma in Digital Media, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the Learning & Development/e-Learning industry. Experience working in an IHL will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate.
  • Possess excellent technical experience in graphic design, illustration and animation.
  • Familiarity with web design, UI/UX concepts and content management systems such as Google Sites, Sitefinity and Blackboard.
  • A great collaborator, with a positive outlook and attitude.
  • Ability to present creative ideas and solutions through effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently and in diverse teams.
