Design Engineer – Water

We invite you to bring your knowledge on water projects into play as you will be responsible for carrying out the network design for storm water, potable water and waste water. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team. To succeed in this role you must have knowledge and thorough understanding of principles of drainage designs for road and airport and must have in depth knowledge of design principles of potable water and waste water . You will join our Water department

As our new Design Engineer – Water you will be part of Water team. As a member of the Water team you will be responsible for carrying out the network design for storm water, potable water and waste water. Also, responsible for carrying out the checks of the drawings produced by CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Design Engineer shall co-ordinate with Project Manager and Assistant Engineer/Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer and be primarily involved in delivering the scheduled tasks in the form of design calculations and drawings.
• Design engineer shall co-ordinate with his/her counterparts across the globe while working on international projects.

We are looking for self-motivated team members who meet the following requirements:

1. BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirable,
2. Should have more than 5 years of experience in drainage design, sewer design and potable water network design. Knowledge of design codes like Euro code/DMRB/AASHTO/any other international standards would be desirable,
3. Experience of working on airport drainage projects will be desirable
4. knowledge and understanding of principles of drainage designs for road, airport and rail environment,
5. should have hands on experience in using any of the drainage design software (Civil 3D, StormCAD, Watergems, Sewergems, SewerCAD InRoads (Storm & Sanitary)
6. should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/Micro Station and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats,
7. in addition to technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills
8. Should be a team player and should coordinate within the team for timely delivery of project

Professional English language skills (written and verbal).
