Deputy Finance Manager

 

The MFO seeks an experienced and qualified accountant to assist the Force Finance Manager in all aspects of financial management.

 

The ideal candidate will be directly involved in the following areas:

 

·         budget management

·         Retail Program

·         internal control and audit

·         accounts payable

·         financial and management accounting and

·         people management

 

 

Experience required

 

The successful candidate will have:

 

·         Professional Accounting qualification (such as CIMA, ICAEW, CPA or ACCA)

·         At least 3 years of broad-based financial experience gained in a commercial or not-for-profit environment

·         Fluency in written and spoken English

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Ability to work to strict deadlines

·         Familiarity with SAP/ERP financial systems

·         Passion about teamwork in a diverse working environment

·         A strong drive to help sustain a positive work culture

·         Peace keeping/military experience and/or previous Middle East experience an advantage
