The People & Culture (P&C) Directorate provides a range of services across the University such as Recruitment; Workplace Relations; Health and Safety; Payroll, Benefits, and Support; Organisational Development; and Workforce Planning and Change Management. About the role 

The Deputy Director reports to the Director, People and Culture and is a critical leadership role within the People & Culture Directorate. The Deputy Director supports the Director in the management and coordination of Talent Acquisition, Casual Management Workforce Unit, HR Services function and Strategic Workforce Planning and Analytics. The Deputy Director will play an important role in the UNE Workforce Strategy and Analytics.  

The Deputy Director has the responsibility for strengthening the UNE’s shared services capability, through the design and development of policies, procedures and governance frameworks. The role will require a more strategic approach to driving increased performance and efficiency to enable a stronger client centric service culture.
