Deputy Director of Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery

We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Director for the Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery at Oxford Brookes University.

The Oxford School of Nursing and Midwifery is a partnership between Oxford Brookes University, The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. The advertised post provides an exciting opportunity to work with the Director and a committed team to drive delivery of an excellent student experience, innovative teaching and learning and impactful research and knowledge exchange.

The post will be based at Oxford Brookes University within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. Oxford Brookes University is a leading modern UK University, delivering an outstanding student experience, internationally significant research and excellence in teaching and learning. The Faculty has a vibrant student and staff community across a range of subject areas, including Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health programmes and a strong research performance in all areas of provision. The Oxford Institute for Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Research (OxINMAHR) provides the hub for health researchers in the Faculty and wider University supporting a community of researchers from academia and practice.

We seek to appoint an experienced and inspirational leader who has worked across both the clinical and the higher education environment to assume leadership of the Faculty department and to support the OSNM partnership to deliver the OSNM vision for excellence in teaching, practice education, research and innovation.
