| Position Overview | The Deputy Director Emergency Management is responsible for all aspects of emergency preparedness and management at all on-campus and off-campus facilities, owned or leased across the State of Idaho. Works with individuals at all institution levels to develop and initiate campus-wide mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery programs to meet regulatory guidelines, protect the University’s assets, prepare the University to deal with unforeseen disruptions to operations, and lead recovery and normalization activities. The Deputy Director of Emergency Management is responsible for the process of developing the Incident Action Plans for pre-planned events as determined by the Events Risk Assessment team. This position is an in-person position required to interact with many people across the campus community. |
