We are an increasingly globally engaged university which continues to contribute positively to a thriving northern economy through our role as an anchor institution for Leeds and the wider region. We make a positive and decisive difference to people, communities and organisations through excellent education, research and service.

We have a strong sense of momentum, and we have shown tremendous cultural and financial resilience in the face of huge challenges during the pandemic. The lessons we learned over that period stand us in good stead as we navigate the challenges ahead.

Your experience will help us in delivering our strategic aims.

You will be a fully qualified accountant with strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leadership in large and complex organisations, able to innovate and drive change and development. You will be experienced and confident operating and influencing at a senior level. Whilst you will have an interest in the higher education sector, your experience could come from the private or third sector or you might be a senior manager in a top 20 Accounting Firm with experience of the Higher Education Sector. Strong financial accounting skills will be essential.

This is an opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience in a fast-moving environment that offers challenge, opportunity and change.
