Job Description Overview

Job Title: DC Athlete I

Reports to: Shipping Coach (PM)

Shift : 3pm – 11pm

Overview

Responsible for working in a team environment, in which loaded corrugated boxes are processed, palletized and shipped out to Nike customers!

Core Accountabilities

  • Strict adherence to all Nike safety policies and procedures

  • Report any unsafe conditions. Take appropriate measures to protect your own safety and that of your colleagues

  • Loading and unloading of corrugated boxes onto or from conveyor belts, or pallets

  • Putting stock into reserve locations

  • Retrieving units from full case cartons

  • Load/scan corrugate boxes into serialized containers

  • Ensuring and acknowledge quantities match requested customer order levels

  • Constructing corrugated boxes, and applying shipping labels

  • Using RF devices to scan/complete material movements in the system

  • Keep area tidy

  • We must be able to interact effectively and work successfully with a diverse group of people on all levels to reach common goals

Other Duties

  • Must be willing to work with/in other areas as required as well as weekends and overtime as needed

  • Lifting between 10lbs – 50lbs

  • Standing for long periods of time

  • Using appropriate safe cutting tools for tape and boxes

  • Operation of Pump Truck

  • Follow and adhere to departmental and workplace SOP and safety guidelines
