The Development team at Newnham College has an impressive track record of creating and supporting an eclectic mix of exciting fundraising events and initiatives for alumnae, students and the wider educational life at the College. This vacancy represents an opportunity to join this professional team to support the Database Manager in their overall remit of providing vital prospect research and management and data enhancement and analysis. This opportunity would suit someone with an inquiring mind, some experience of data manipulation, a keen eye for detail and a pro-active work ethic.

This is a permanent post and is available either as a full-time opportunity (37.5 hours a week), or part-time could also be considered. The salary is paid at point 30 on the University’s single salary spine, the full time equivalent for which is currently £24,948 per annum. The College offers membership of the USS pension scheme, to which the College makes employer contributions of 21.6%. Holiday entitlement is 33 days per year (inclusive of bank holidays), pro rata for part-time, and other benefits include a free meal when on duty, free car parking where available and subsidised use of the College’s gym facilities.

The successful candidate ideally will have some knowledge of databases and particularly Raiser’s Edge, be prepared to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, use excellent administrative and numeracy skills and be able to demonstrate a sympathy with and commitment to the ethos and aims of Newnham College.
