Main Responsibilities:

• Model Design and Development:

• Lead the creation of custom Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM) components for AI ML pipelines.

• Develop model components including data ingestion, preprocessing, retrieval, and fine-tuning.

• Build and maintain full-stack applications integrating ML models, focusing on backend and frontend processes.

• Collaborative Development:

• Work with data engineers, ML Ops, software engineers, and other tech team members to design, develop, and implement ML model solutions.

• Contribute to both backend and frontend development tasks to ensure seamless user experiences.

• Model Evaluation:

• Collaborate with data science team members to develop, validate, and maintain robust evaluation tools for assessing model performance during development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Implement model optimizations to enhance system efficiency based on evaluation results.

• Model Deployment:

• Partner with the MLOps team to deploy ML and Gen AI models into production environments, ensuring reliability and scalability.

• Develop and implement deployment strategies and frontend interfaces to monitor and manage deployed models effectively.

• Internal Collaboration:

• Work closely with product teams, business stakeholders, and data science team members to ensure smooth integration of ML models into production systems.

• Foster strong communication and cooperation across different teams for successful project outcomes.

• Problem Solving:

• Troubleshoot complex issues related to ML model development and data pipelines.

• Develop innovative solutions to overcome challenges, contributing to continuous improvement in model performance and system efficiency.

About You:

• Experience:

• Master’s Degree with 3+ years of data science experience.

• Experience deploying models in agile, product-focused environments.

• Full-stack AI application expertise, including front-end frameworks (e.g., React) and backend technologies.

• Technical Skills:

• Disciplined AI/ML development, including CI/CD and orchestration.

• Proficiency in cloud and high-performance computing (AWS, GCP, Databricks, Apache Spark).

• Soft and Technical Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., business, product, and digital).

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the technology industry or tech consulting.
