Overview of team

Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to join a AAA game company remotely in Canada on a 6-month contract to hire. This person will be assisting with creating and transforming ETLs for mobile growth analytics, specifically supporting financial data analysis of spend for marketing on mobile titles. This role is an intermediate level and requires a core understanding of big data concepts and being well versed in ETLing within GCP BigQuery. One year of Python proficiency is required to be able to understand APIs and ingest data to bring it into BigQuery. Any dashboarding experience in Looker is a plus to help build on top of the data transformations, but heavy dashboarding experience is not needed as this person is primarily working within ETLs.

Skills and Requirements

Must-haves

- Understanding of basic big data concepts

- 2+ years of working experience in GCP BigQuery

- 2+ years experience as a Data Engineer

- 1+ year Python proficiency Plusses

- 1+ year dashboarding in Looker null
