About This Opportunity 

This is a rare opportunity to join UQ’s Marketing and Communication division (M&C). As the Data & Reporting Analyst, you will work with a team of analytics specialists to support the broader marketing community in UQ, including senior marketing managers from faculties and institutes, to support campaign planning, execution, and measurements of KPIs. The day-to-day responsibilities also include creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, and you be presenting insights to key stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Collect, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources, identifying trends and patterns and developing insights and strategies to improve performance and capabilities

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute dashboards/reports/written reports to stakeholders.

  • Analyse existing business processes to understand the flow of information and identify any impacts to the data

  • Engage and consult with key stakeholders to understand their needs and translate campaign strategies and objectives into metrics and integrated campaign tracking capabilities to measure, analyse and report on the performance and impact of digital marketing activities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to key stakeholders on understanding performance against metrics, including articulating results into actionable insights

About You  

  • Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with reporting and data analysis principles and practices, including data quality analysis, data visualisation, and performance metrics.

  • Demonstrated experience and ability to build dashboards in PowerBI/Tableau/Business Objects or other equivalent data visualisation tools.

  • A sound understanding of a large and complex institutions facilities management operation and asset management and how it interacts within a broader University context;

  • Ability to assist users in analysing their business requirements and to develop and implement solutions that meet these requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and provide high-level guidance on understanding and using data to drive business decisions

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex information in understandable and digestible formats and compelling tables and graphics

What We Can Offer 

This is a Full-time, Continuing position at HEW Level 7.

The total package may include an annual market loading amount in addition to the base salary, increasing your total remuneration dependant on skills and experience. This will be discussed as part of the interview process. UQ offers 17% superannuation.
