It is an exciting time to join our dynamic and forward-looking institution; we are a fast-growing, gold-rated university where staff and students work collaboratively and create world-changing knowledge and research.

Are you an experienced and motivated Data Analyst? Could you be a successful member of a small team working in a fast-changing environment, having to meet tight deadlines? As part of the Planning and Business Intelligence Team you will work to high levels of accuracy utilising strong analytical working methods.

This position is an integral part of our Planning and Business Intelligence Team with the main focus on compiling meaningful reporting and insight utilising complex datasets, models and relational databases.  This reporting and insight will inform strategic and operational decision-making across the University.  As well as supporting the wider team in data analysis, the postholder will also have their own portfolio of work.

The role is not just about number crunching. Communication skills are also key and the post holder will be expected to build working relationships with the wider University community as well as the immediate Planning and Business Intelligence Team.

You will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of initiative and be able to work independently as well as part of our team.

We are looking for someone who will deliver a high-quality customer-focused service in a professional and proactive way, whilst also making an active and positive contribution to the Planning and Business Intelligence Team.

If you have any questions regarding the role, please contact Simon Hearn, Insight and Benchmarking Manager, at [email protected]
