Cybersecurity Team Lead

What success looks like in this role:
Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Oversee the management of security risks and mitigation plans.
- SME Knowledge on at least one of SIEM/EDR/VM tools like Sentinel, Defender, Rapid7 etc
- Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure the organization’s security posture
- Understanding of networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), cloud security, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Understanding of cloud architecture/deployments
- Refresh and maintain the security Policy set and Produce a new Roadmap for security
- Assist in the architecture and deployment of security tools
- Analyze threat landscapes and provide actionable intelligence
- Serve as the liaison for third-party audits and compliance evaluations including SOC1/SOC2.
- Prepare regular reports on security posture for senior management.
- Work as a bridge between Resolver team and SOC for any security related issues
- Support in creation of the of Security Reports
- Create and maintain risk registers and regularly report on risk metrics.
- Provide recommendations for improving the security posture.
- Approving monthly patches for workstations and servers.
- Ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security domain with exposure to Security Products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and program management skills.
- Proven skills in Cyber Security Consulting including IT Audits
- Willingness to learn new technology platforms
- Preferred Qualifications: SIEM Experience, Vulnerability Management, Recognized network and security certifications, ECIH, GCIH, GCIE CISSP etc.
- Good understanding of the Security Engineering Process
