CyberSecurity Project Manager

FourCorners Cyber (a SoluStaff company) is recruiting a Cybersecurity Project Manager. As a Cybersecurity Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage cybersecurity projects for FourCorners’ customers. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of cybersecurity initiatives, managing project timelines, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Your expertise in cybersecurity concepts and project management methodologies will be essential in driving the organization’s cybersecurity objectives and protecting sensitive information from potential threats.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Establish project timelines, milestones, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks and overall project success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements, risks, and constraints.
  • Coordinate and monitor project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Identify the necessary resources, both internal and external, required for successful project execution.
  • Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are available at the right time.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including cybersecurity analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders, to assign tasks and responsibilities.
  • Monitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to optimize productivity and project outcomes.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the cybersecurity projects and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure appropriate controls and safeguards are in place.
  • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and industry best practices to proactively address emerging risks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders, including executives, team members, and external vendors.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams involved in cybersecurity projects.
  • Provide regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommended actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the field of Cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or CISSP are desirable.
