About this role:
The LenelS2 Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for performing assessments of customer installations for system and organizational security and performing on-the-spot remediations with the authorized VAR as needed. The Cybersecurity Engineer will work on cybersecurity site assessment and hardening projects with all our customer segments. This position will also be responsible to deploy, test, and install LenelS2 products as needed. This position requires availability for travel, with typical individual trips lasting between 3-5 days. Operating Technology Cybersecurity experience is not a requirement but is valued; depending on the level of the candidate’s technical knowledge in Host and Network management, the candidate will be trained in the concepts and skillsets required in this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level manufacturer product expertise
- Ability to independently engineer security solutions while collaborating with multiple internal departments and our authorized VARs and End Users.
- Research and implement automated approaches for system administration tasks using command-line and PowerShell scripts, leveraging resources to provide economies of scale.

- Vulnerability Assessment
- Creation and Delivery of Post Assessment Report
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical software systems integration, systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering or equivalent technical experience as an individual contributor
- 2+ years of direct customer interaction (designing, developing, or supporting)
- Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willing to travel up to 25%-50%
- Proven analytical and problem-resolution skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Working knowledge of networking, including switching and routing.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to supported technologies.
- Outstanding customer service orientation. The candidate demonstrates the ability to develop strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server and thin client environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Server and Desktop Host Operating Systems, including user management (both in an AD environment and Local), registry modification, and Windows services.
- CISSP, CEH, Security+, SANS GIAC, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert or similar certification.
- Working knowledge of firewall administration.
- Experience administrating Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and/or Video Management Systems (VMS).
- Background in providing technical solutions; ability to manage issues to a successful resolution.
- Ability to accurately interpret software requirements documents and scope of work modifications to determine the cost of such change is highly desired.
- Familiarity with network and software cybersecurity diagnostic tools, such as Tenable Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark
- Demonstrated customer relationship qualities.
- Hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments
- Experience writing technical reports.
