Position Overview

In this role as a Customization Design and Quote Engineer, you will support both internal and external customers with product customization and special adaptations. You will develop and document customizations and customer-specific products within the Customization RFQ and Order processes. You will suggest and implement improvements together with other Permobil departments, perform risk assessments on quotation and design plan requests and work with Quote/Order Technicians and Customization Technicians to assess risks and suggest solutions. In this position, you will have a leading role in developing adaptations and customer unique products.

The position is a temporary contract on-site at office Sundsvall.

Key Tasks

• Quote and Design special adaptations to Permobil’s customers via sales companies.

• Reports incidents, accidents and safety risks if these occur.

• Actively participates in the PCI Team.

• Keep up to date with inquiries received and evaluate how these can be met through customizations on the products

• Design customizations of existing product configurations and accessories within PU TIM

• Design customer-unique products (CMD) based on prescriptions

• Produce documentation and documentation for adaptations and customer-unique products (CMD) including risk assessments, design plans, instructions and design control documents

• Report and take action on detected quality, environmental and safety deviations

• Suggests and implements improvements to the Customization RFQ and Customization Order processes

• Updated with the latest technology and developments in the production area by having control over what is happening in the world around us and further educating ourselves in the field.

Who are you?

You have the creativity to effectively solve problems and recommend solutions to adaptation requests. You can work independently on multiple assignments simultaneously and deliver results on time.

Your Background

• Secondary Education

• Education in a technical field from college/university or similar

Your knowledge

• Good knowledge in Swedish and English, applies to both speech and writing. German or French speech is merited

• Good knowledge in Office 365

• Good knowledge in D365 and Part Trap

• Solid Works or equivalent

• Photoshop is merited

• ERP

• Good understanding of the processes within Permobil’s QMS
