Description
We are seeking a Medical Scheduler based in San Antonio, Texas. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in managing and scheduling preventative health care screenings for patients. This role is particularly suited for those with a background in the healthcare industry and experience in managing patient appointments. Key Responsibilities
Patient Scheduling: Manage a daily call schedule aimed at filling appointments for patients’ preventative screenings.
High Call Volume: Once trained, complete a minimum of 70-80 calls per day to ensure patients are scheduled in a timely manner.
Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records for tracking and managing patient outreach and scheduling.
Data Management: Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other software tools for tracking and follow-up.
Customer Service: Engage in friendly, professional communication with a senior patient focus, helping ensure patients are informed and supported.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience: Prior experience in healthcare scheduling, especially in medical or preventive care settings.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with EMR systems and web-based communication tools.
Patient Focus: Comfortable with phone outreach and committed to quality senior patient care.
Medical Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology and preventive healthcare practices is a strong advantage.
