Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Newark, California. This role primarily involves handling customer queries and concerns in a call center setting, with a focus on the healthcare industry. The selected candidate will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our service department, dealing with a high volume of incoming calls and assisting with customer account management. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Responding promptly to a large volume of incoming telephone calls and referrals from customers.
• Assisting customers in registering and cancelling appointments, ensuring all processes are handled efficiently.
• Documenting and routing calls accurately to the appropriate department.
• Recognizing and escalating urgent customer needs or operational issues as required.
• Managing and navigating medical records, verifying that patient information is updated and correctly inputted.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Delivering a high level of customer service at all times.
• Adhering to documented protocols and guidelines in all customer interactions.
• Using the telephone system functionality as required and using reference documents and online knowledgebase tools to provide accurate information regarding services.
• Undertaking other departmental duties as assigned and maintaining respect and composure in stressful situations. Requirements • Applicant must possess knowledge and experience in Healthcare Insurance.
• Experience in a Call Center Customer Service role is required.
• Strong Customer Service skills are essential for this role.
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls effectively and efficiently.
• Proficiency in managing and Answering Multi-Line Phone System is necessary.
