We are in search of a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative in the logistics industry, you will be tasked with tracking deliveries, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track deliveries made by around 40 trucks daily

• Liaise with customers to provide updates on deliveries

• Reschedule deliveries as needed and communicate changes to customers

• Handle any issues related to customer orders or deliveries promptly and professionally

• Utilize dispatching skills to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Leverage Excel skills for data entry tasks (no formulas or functions required)

• Provide bilingual customer service if applicable

• Train and adapt to company-specific software.

Requirements • Excellent customer service skills, with a proven track record in a similar role.

• Experience in dispatching, coordinating transportation, or related logistics activities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

• Proficient in using computer systems for tracking, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting.

• Ability to handle stressful situations and high-volume workload.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.

• Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be flexible with work hours, able to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
